Introducing Nano Brow & Why we have made the switch from Microblading

Healed Nano Brows

If you’ve been researching brow tattoos, chances are you’ve come across both Microblading and Nano Brows—two semi-permanent techniques that promise flawless, fuller-looking brows. So what’s the difference, and why has Moonlight Beauty made the switch to Nano?

Let’s break it down:

First, What Is Microblading?

Microblading is a manual technique where a handheld blade creates tiny hair-like cuts in the skin, depositing pigment with each stroke. It became wildly popular for its realistic effect and has been the go-to option for years.

BUT… here’s the problem:

While the results can look beautiful at first, microblading can be harsh on the skin, especially with repeated touch-ups. It can cause scar tissue, pigment blurring, and long-term damage in some skin types.

Enter Nano Brows — The Upgrade We All Needed

Nano Brows (also called Nano Machine Hair Strokes or Nano Blading) use a digital machine and an ultra-fine needle to mimic hair strokes—but without the cutting. Instead of slicing the skin, the machine gently implants pigment with tiny pixelated strokes for a much softer, more precise, and skin-friendly result.

Think of it as a less traumatic, longer-lasting alternative to microblading—with the same natural look (and often better retention).

Why We’ve Made the Switch

At Moonlight Beauty, client safety and skin integrity are everything. Here’s why I’ve transitioned to Nano Brows:

    •  Better for Sensitive & Mature Skin

Nano is more versatile and gentler, making it ideal for all skin types, especially oily or aging skin.

    •  More Precision, Less Trauma

The machine allows for more control and accuracy without cutting the skin.

    •  Longer Lasting Results

Nano strokes fade gracefully and often last longer than traditional microblading.

    •  Cleaner, Softer Healed Results

No thick scabbing, less bleeding, and better pigment retention = a better healed brow.

Still Want a Natural Look? You’ll Get It—Only Better

Nano Brows still deliver that fluffy, hair-like effect, but they heal more evenly and with less trauma to your skin. And since we’re using machine work, we can build dimension and density gradually—customizing every set to your unique brow goals.

Let’s Get You Into the Nano Era

If you’ve had microblading before and weren’t in love with the healed results—or you’re brand new to the world of PMU—Nano Brows are your chance for a fresh start.
